Default New farming place for griffs and hydras...

Ive decided that Augury rock is too crowded, so i've been hunting for new farming grounds.

Anyone that runs to thirsty river knows that there are quite a few hydra and griffons to evade on the way there... ive been working on a build that can take out both, as well as rock scarabs, rockshoots, potentially some sand giants (haven't been able to yet, but might be able to soon with practice, if anyone has any tips, great ).

The only things you have to aviod are the Losarus. Oh, and jade scarabs. Damn necro bugs.

So, to the east! Time to change the hunting grounds from augury to the Destinys gorge, and time for some variation and fun in soloing.

14 in tactics, 5 in inspiration, 11 in swords and strength.

I got careless... :P

If you exit from destiny's gorge, heading NE, you come across a good 15-18 griffons, and then if you head south, about 15 hydra. Use the teleporter and run past the Lorasu dudes, go up the path to the next teleporter where there are another 10-15 griffons. take the teleporter afterwards to fight some rock scarabs and enchanteds...

I'll do it again and count for real this time brb...

(if you can beat up sand giants, then theres at least a good 30 or more past the griffons to the NE)

The Griffin spot is above dunes not thirsty ^_^

there is about 15-20 griffins there atleast, 5-10 sand drakes (I know, they make you blind, but they don't hit hard either) sometimes a few scarabs, and a few sandgolems + minos on the west. Hence you could go east and kill the 2 worms there as well...
And the best part: there is a collector there go switch all your collectable drops for max weapons, and make people in kryta happy

While this is a very good idea, it's simply a lot of hassle for not very many griffons. The thing i do when i farm griffons is one run outside augury, one run outside dunes, and do that over and over so the anti-farm doesn't kick in.

But normally, i prefer to solo farm out in dreadnoughts drift and snake dance. Troll cave near forge also drops good wood salvage.

And get an axe while you're at it.

I have farmed in the scar before and it is simply not worth it. If you want to farm here go with an invinci necro, they can clear this area pretty quickly.

I like leaving dunes and teleing across right away, I find wurms and kill those, and I run around and kill the 20 or so griffens around there while I search for more worms.

Dunes is best for farming all types. Can do Enchanted, griffs, and wurms with a single riposte build. and condition removal is very important(blind).
